You will assist with openings, closings, payroll tasks, and store programs, while maintaining a clean, well-stocked store and strong customer relations. This is a part-time opportunity with a focus on teamwork and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor as needed and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store-related communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure staff compliance.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and employees.
