Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Cary, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with product organization, payroll and scheduling, and ensure safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to read and interpret directives.
• Experience managing a retail or grocery store is preferred.
• Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform standing/walking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Support opening/closing procedures and ensure store standards.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, with loss prevention.
• Help supervise and train Store Associates and maintain safety.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked, and presentable store environment.
