Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environments preferred
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and opening/closing procedures
• Help customers with questions or concerns in a positive, approachable manner
• Organize and transfer merchandise from deliveries to stockroom and sales floor
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays to ensure effectiveness
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling and cash handling
• Maintain stocked sales floor and organized stockroom per company standards
• Protect store assets including cash and secure premises
• Guide Store Associates through supervision, training and development
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions
• Keep store clean: bathrooms, floors, trash, and general presentation
• Perform other duties as assigned
