Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Store management experience in retail or similar environment is preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are required

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain fixtures and displays to ensure promotional effectiveness
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll/scheduling/cash handling, and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all store assets, including cash
• Adhere to safety policies and store procedures
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including restrooms and floors
• Other duties as assigned
