PMG is an established distributor and jobber of petroleum products & services throughout the Atlantic region of the United States. We own, operate, and/or supply over 800 sites across Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., and New Jersey, with an annual fuel volume of over 700 million gallons. Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Compensation: $17.15 to $19.00 per hour

Location: 7-Eleven & Exxon at Clarksburg, MD

Job Description: The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for leading the store's day-to-day operations in the absence of the General Manager and supporting the General Manager in all aspects of store management. The AGM reviews business results, including profitability, and plans for continuous improvement. Responsibilities include ordering, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting team members.

Daily Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers
  • Resolving customer concerns efficiently
  • Executing training plans for Customer Service Associates (CSAs)
  • Supervising daily tasks and performance of staff
  • Recruiting, hiring, coaching, and managing staff performance
  • Delegating tasks and following up
  • Providing support, motivation, and coaching to staff
  • Monitoring business processes and results for profitability
  • Managing cash and lottery processes
  • Upholding integrity, honesty, and respect
  • Supporting the General Manager with ongoing tasks and assignments

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing and directing teams
  • Minimum of 45 hours work per week
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Goal-oriented with organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
