Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Akron is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily operations, staff supervision, and customer service within an Ohio storefront. The role involves interviewing, scheduling, performance reviews, and ensuring accurate cash handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior supervisory or training experience in customer service/retail is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in interviewing, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Direct, supervise, and train staff in donations, processing and sales.
• Operate cash register and POS, handle opening/closing procedures, and daily reconciliations.
