Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Newark, DE location. This role oversees store operations, staff supervision, customer experience, and visual merchandising to meet KPIs and sales targets.

The position emphasizes leadership, training, and excellent service in a fast-paced retail environment. The Assistant Store Manager will manage scheduling, training, and disciplinary actions when the Store Manager is unavailable, while promoting a positive and inclusive work

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management and supervision.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong merchandising and cash-handling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty during shifts and handle scheduling and customer issues.
• Develop store staff through training and follow-up performance reviews.
• Enforce company policies, safety standards, and dress code; ensure store presentation and cleanliness.
• Drive sales through effective selling strategy and KPI achievement.
• Maintain inventories, pricing accuracy, and backroom organization.
• Support opening/closing procedures and cash handling with accuracy.
