NAPA store under USA GPC Genuine Parts Company seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, sales execution, and service excellence. You will support the Store Manager, oversee counter sales, inventory, and delivery coordination while maintaining a strong customer focus.

This developmental role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, and basic P&L awareness, with overtime and keyholder duties possible to ensure store continuity and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in the auto aftermarket or willingness to learn automotive is expected.
• Leadership experience and customer-care focus are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Experience in parts store or retail management is preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner daily with Store Manager on operations, sales execution, inventory health, and team performance.
• Actively sell and build customer relationships across channels (in-store, phone, dealer/wholesale).
• Oversee opening/closing routines, cash reconciliation, end-of-day reporting, and facility readiness.
• Coach and manage performance for flexible execution of store functions.
• Monitor core store metrics and drive problem solving for improvements.
• Support talent development and adherence to safety and loss-prevention processes.
