Position Overview

Position Title: Assistant Store Leader (Manager)

Reports To: Store Leader

Classification: Full-Time/Exempt/Salaried + Incentives

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve high sales performance through excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements, including ATF, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
• Lead safety initiatives and manage safety communication within the store.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff efficiently.
• Create and manage staff schedules and approve time sheets and absences.
• Train and develop employees, ensuring consistent sales techniques and customer service.
• Maintain clear communication channels with the team and main office.
• Manage store operations, including safety, compliance, and maintenance.
• Oversee range maintenance and ensure proper handling of firearms and related policies.
• Manage inventory counts, deposits, and daily store opening/closing procedures.
• Assist with daily staff responsibilities as needed.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of retail sales experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, inventory management, and POS systems.
