Position Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, provide excellent customer service, maintain store appearance, manage inventories, and complete daily paperwork. You will also support loss prevention efforts and assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Assist with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items.
• Help with ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention initiatives.
• Perform management duties in the Store Manager's absence.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and meet physical demands of the role.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
