Job Description:

Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day store operations, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.

  • Complete daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
  • Supervise, develop, train, and discipline hourly employees.
  • Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations.
  • Maintain business records, review cashier accountability sheets.
  • Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested.
  • Manage cash procedures including deposits and change orders.
  • Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and sanitation.
  • Ensure store security and safety, complying with all safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Coordinate gasoline levels and deliveries.
  • Engage in promotional initiatives and promote guest service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Territory Manager.

Qualifications
  • Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good communication, reading, writing, and basic computer skills.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in various temperatures and perform physical activities including lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • At least 18 years old.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
