Compensation Pay Range
$15.00 - $20.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
  2. Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc…)
  3. Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours (lunch, late-afternoons, evenings, weekends, etc.)
  4. Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members, and ensuring team members are current on their training.
  5. Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure the selection of qualified team members.
  6. Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely, and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed.
  7. Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure.
  8. Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and friendly, refunds are issued accurately, and merchandise is processed or staged correctly.
  9. Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before product leaves the store.
  10. Ensure communication of Zipline messages, and completion of Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
  11. Make sure all team members adhere to company policies, including work schedule, clocking in/out, and deviations approval.
  12. Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, and security checks.
  13. Assist in maintaining the store building, parking lot, signage, lighting, hardware, equipment, and delivery vehicles.
  14. All other duties as assigned.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification

Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification, ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
