The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role manages the store during the Manager's absence and leads the team in servicing customers.

Essential Job Functions

1. Lead the team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional clients.
2. Supervise customer service levels and ensure team members execute service programs effectively.
3. Assist in staffing, goal setting, coaching, and training of team members.
4. Participate in hiring processes, including interviews and candidate evaluation.
5. Ensure proper handling of online orders, transfers, and customer returns/exchanges.
6. Manage merchandise invoicing, communication of messages, and merchandising tasks.
7. Ensure compliance with policies, work schedules, and proper clocking in/out.
8. Perform opening and closing duties, including securing the store and handling deposits.
9. Maintain the store's physical condition and equipment.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification

Desired: Certified Parts Professional, ASE Certification, multilingual fluency (Spanish preferred)
