Summary

We are looking for a driven Assistant Store Manager passionate about outdoor sports and leading a dynamic store team. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals.

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure your store team delivers exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
2. Provide high-quality ski & bike services promptly.
3. Train and develop the store team on selling strategies and continuous improvement.
4. Create strategies to increase store sales through analysis and action planning.
5. Identify problems and opportunities, presenting viable solutions.
6. Maintain store visual standards to create an inspiring shopping experience.
7. Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.
8. Participate in clinics to enhance product knowledge.
9. Promote Sun & Ski within the community and lead participation in events.
10. Manage store expenses and payroll, planning and delegating as needed.
11. Communicate regularly with Store Manager, District Manager, and Home Office.
12. Minimize inventory loss and maintain accurate cash control.

Requirements

1. Passion for outdoor activities such as cycling, skiing, snowboarding, water sports, and skating.
2. At least 2 years of management experience.
3. Proven ability to motivate, develop teams, and increase sales and profitability.
4. Over 2 years of retail or outdoor sports experience with knowledge of business operations and shrink reduction.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with vendors, team members, and management.
6. Ability to network, recruit, interview, train, and develop staff.
7. Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of multitasking.
8. Analytical skills with attention to detail.
