Job summary

AT&T in Kansas (Olathe) is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily operations, drive sales, and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service. The role partners with the Store Manager to oversee merchandising, product launches, and promotions while aiming to exceed sales objectives.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in sales/customer experience in telecom, prior management experience, and strong planning and problem-solving skills.

Job description

Support the Store Manager in daily operations, driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and optimizing operational efficiency to achieve the store’s performance goals. Take the lead at the center of where it all happens – our retail stores. With your retail knowledge and leadership abilities, you’ll help oversee store operations, manage and develop a team and ensure AT&T customers experience our best-in-class services, entertainment and technology. In this role, you’ll partner with a store manager to oversee all aspects involved in the daily operation of a retail store. From assisting with merchandising and product launches to helping to meet and exceed sales objectives, you’ll ensure that customers are provided with an extraordinary experience with our products and services. You'll perform additional outreach and promotional activities, including off site events as needed. And you won’t be in this alone. You’ll gain valuable experience coaching a team of retail sales consultants to ensure they meet sales and service goals.

Our most successful Assistant Store Managers have:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry

• Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends and AT&T mobility systems

Our Assistant Store Managers earn a base salary between $47,500 - $71,300 + $18,000 commission with a total target compensation of $65,500 – $89,300.
