Job Title: Assistant Manager

Batteries Plus, the nation's largest and fastest-growing battery and light bulb franchise, is seeking a customer-focused Assistant Manager at our Norman, OK location. The role involves assisting the Store Manager and Store Associates in achieving sales objectives and maintaining efficient store operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement the store's business plan, company programs, and initiatives. Evaluate performance against plans and benchmarks. Control costs while driving sales.
2. Lead store operations including purchasing, receiving, inventory management, customer orders, store organization, and cleanliness.
3. Support sales strategies and initiatives.
4. Assist in hiring and training Store Associates and act as supervisor in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent; at least one year of retail experience or equivalent education and experience.
2. Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
3. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
4. Resourceful and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Flexible schedule availability.
7. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
