About The Role
As an Operations Manager or Merchandising Manager, you will oversee store operations and/or merchandising, providing excellent customer service. You will teach, coach, and develop associates to execute operational, service, and merchandising processes focused on consistent execution and efficiency. You will be responsible for the overall results and success of all key performance metrics, with a primary goal of driving sales and profitability.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure sound operational processes, including receiving and processing product, stockroom management, and omni-channel fulfillment.
- Drive accuracy through completion of all required directives such as merchandise disposition practices.
- Maintain appropriate product levels on the sales floor by planning and directing replenishment based on sell-through and seasonal changes.
- Lead efforts at point of sale and customer service departments to deliver fast transactions and create a compelling customer experience.
- Ensure store merchandising standards follow visual direction, with product presentation that is clear, easy to understand, and appealing.
- Direct, teach, and train associates to execute merchandising standards in a timely manner.
- Manage pricing activities, ensuring accuracy in price changes, signage, and ticketing procedures.
- Support loss prevention by educating staff, monitoring store activity, and maintaining product protection standards.
- Train new hires on processes, inventory procedures, merchandising standards, and how to leverage Kohl’s tools and resources.

Preferred Qualifications
- Retail experience, preferably in a managerial role.
