Job summary

Self Storage Plus is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support day-to-day operations at our storage facilities. You will assist with leasing, customer relations, rent collection, and financial reporting, while ensuring quality service and secure property conditions.

The role requires hands-on facility management, regular maintenance walks, and strong safety practices. Flexible to work at multiple locations; this is a part-time position with 10–20 hours per week and a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of property operations, including leasing, customer relations, rent collection, and financial reporting.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and property walks to ensure safety and security.
• Maintain cleanliness standards across the property and perform cleaning tasks as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries, explain occupancy/leasing terms, and conduct property tours.
• Address customer complaints and emergencies promptly and professionally.
• Follow company policies to maximize efficiency and tenant satisfaction.

• Base Pay $17.00 - $19.00 / Hour

Location: Justice Rd

Hours: Part-Time, estimated 10-20 hours per week

Pay Rate: $17 - $19 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of property operations, including leasing, customer relations, rent collection, and financial reporting
• Maintaining the property through regular maintenance checks, conducting daily property walks to ensure that safety and security requirements are met, making minor repairs as needed
• Upholding cleanliness standards throughout the property, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash, cleaning out storage units, and other cleaning responsibilities as needed
• Responding to customer inquiries, understanding and presenting amenities through tours of property and explaining terms of occupancy/leasing agreements
• Respond to customer complaints and emergencies promptly and professionally
• Follow company policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure a positive tenant experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to bend and lift to move items at least 25 or more pounds
• Ability to operate tools and equipment, such as bolt cutters, grinders and drills
• Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time while performing indoor and outdoor job responsibilities
