Description

We are looking for a talented Assistant Store Manager to become part of our team in Lawrenceville, GA, US. The perfect candidate will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the store while working closely with the General Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage all operational aspects of the store alongside the General Manager in Lawrenceville, GA, US
  2. Implement Big Dave's Cheesesteak's Standard Operating Procedures to ensure excellent customer service
  3. Oversee the Big Dave's Training program for restaurant team members to enhance unit operations and customer experience
  4. Carry out company initiatives as directed
  5. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations at all times
  6. Provide coaching and development opportunities for Team Members following standard operating procedures
  7. Communicate and uphold operational policies and procedures effectively
  8. Maintain food specifications, recipe adherence, and presentation standards
  9. Monitor and meet ticket times standards consistently
  10. Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and chemicals to ensure operational efficiency
  11. Establish and maintain par levels for inventory control
  12. Ensure equipment, building, and premises meet regulatory and SOP standards
  13. Keep small wares well-stocked and in good condition
  14. Uphold cleanliness and appearance standards for the interior and exterior of the restaurant
  15. Adhere to sanitation practices as per regulations and SOPs
  16. Properly store and handle food items, ensuring labeling, dating, rotation, and temperature control
  17. Implement and oversee a comprehensive deep-cleaning schedule
Qualifications
  1. Must have at least 6 months of experience leading a team in the food service industry
  2. Should demonstrate a customer-centric mindset and a genuine willingness to assist customers
  3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
  4. Self-motivated, able to work independently, and driven to achieve goals
  5. Thrives in a fast-paced work environment
  6. Displays energy, proactivity, innovation, and adaptability
  7. Comfortable with being in a visible role within the organization
  8. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
  9. Honest, ethical, and reliable
  10. Expected to attend all mandatory meetings, whether virtual or in-person, as required by business needs
  11. Support the General Manager during restaurant meetings and briefings
  12. Capable of bending, stooping, reaching, and pushing during daily tasks
  13. Ability to lift or move kitchen supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  14. Willingness to take on additional assigned tasks when necessary
