About The Position

As our Assistant Store Manager, you will be an ambassador of the store, demonstrating excellent hospitality for both guests and team members. In conjunction with the Store Manager, you will help strengthen team engagement, maximize team productivity, and drive business results.

What You'll Do
  • Lead by example in hospitality, educating team members and guests on products and services.
  • Create and manage team schedules aligned with guest shopping hours.
  • Assist in analyzing sales and other reports to inform business decisions.
  • Support in sourcing, selecting, and hiring new team members.
  • Partner with the Guest Services Manager for team onboarding and training.
  • Coach team members to optimize operations and increase retention.
  • Manage store inventories and teams to minimize product loss.
  • Ensure team adherence to company standards and policies.
  • Manage the store’s social media presence following company standards.
  • Collaborate with store and department managers to enhance teamwork.
  • Ensure safety and food safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 5-7 years of retail experience, including leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to read and follow planograms, policies, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in perishables, hospitality, or grocery retail.
  • Familiarity with production planning software and applicant tracking systems.
