Overview
A Big O Tire Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supervising store operations and providing excellent customer service, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and promoting customer education and maintenance follow-up.

Responsibilities
- Greet and thank customers courteously, providing fast and friendly service.
- Promote sales by explaining benefits of services and products.
- Perform vehicle inspections, print maintenance requirements, and recommend needed services.
- Handle sales duties including pricing, promotions, suggestive selling, and stock management.
- Implement company policies and procedures.
- Manage store operations in the absence of the store manager.
- Assist in training staff and executing store policies.
- Resolve customer concerns effectively.
- Participate in weekly store meetings.
- Set and monitor sales goals, profit margins, and expense controls.
- Review financial statements and assist in payroll management.
- Monitor employee productivity and manage accounts receivable.
- Ensure proper cash handling, bank deposits, and inventory management.
- Assist in physical inventory counts and reporting.
- Maintain store appearance and equipment, and handle customer complaints courteously.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Maintain communication with management and staff.
- Support new employee training and facility maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Reliable transportation and availability for holidays, weekends, and after hours.
- Ability to learn technical materials and operate office and vehicle equipment.
- Ability to communicate accurately with customers.
- Willingness to handle hazardous materials and work outdoors.
- Capable of operating manual and automatic vehicles safely.
- Must comply with PPE regulations, and have good sensory and physical capabilities.
- Meet company requirements including drug screening, MVR, and background checks.
Preferred Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years retail or sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lead, work independently or in teams, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
