Overview:
A Big O Tire Assistant Store Manager will supervise store operations and handle customer service duties efficiently, following all company policies and procedures. The role involves ensuring proper customer education and follow-up on maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities
- Greet and thank customers courteously, providing fast and friendly service.
- Promote sales by explaining benefits of services and products.
- Perform vehicle inspections, print maintenance requirements, and promote necessary products/services.
- Handle sales duties including pricing, promotions, suggestive selling, and stock management.
- Implement company policies and procedures.
- Perform management functions in the absence of the store manager.
- Manage store operations, including sales, office, and shop activities.
- Assist in training staff and executing company policies.
- Guide staff in resolving customer concerns.
- Participate in weekly store meetings to review safety, policies, and updates.
- Set and achieve sales, profit, expense, and payroll goals with the store manager.
- Review financial statements and monitor employee productivity.
- Assist with accounts receivable and collections.
- Ensure timely opening and closing of the store.
- Oversee cash handling and bank deposits.
- Review work orders for accuracy.
- Assist with inventory management and physical counts.
- Complete reports and provide information to management.
- Manage sales transactions and address discrepancies.
- Optimize ticket average and profitability.
- Maintain store facilities and assets.
- Build relationships with customers and staff, motivating positive experiences.
- Ensure equipment maintenance and safety compliance.
- Maintain cleanliness and store appearance standards.
- Follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Adhere to work schedules and communicate professionally.
- Report maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist in training new employees.
- Perform general cleaning and stock shelves.
- Complete training requirements timely.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older.
- Reliable transportation.
- Availability for holidays, weekends, and after-hours work.
- Ability to learn technical materials and operate office equipment.
- Effective communication with customers.
- Willingness to handle hazardous materials.
- Ability to work outdoors and operate vehicles safely.
- Compliance with PPE regulations.
- Good vision, hearing, speech, and olfactory senses.
- Ability to stand or drive for up to nine hours per shift.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
- Successful pre-employment screening, MVR, and background check required.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills

- 2+ years in retail or sales.
- Valid driver’s license.
