Job Objective: Assist the Store Manager with staff management, production, sales, store maintenance, customer development, and banking/record keeping. Support daily store operations.
Essential Functions: This role involves supporting staff training, participating in recruiting, scheduling, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting beneficiaries. The associate supervises product acquisition, production, sales, and store presentation, ensuring safety, security, and cleanliness. They implement customer retention strategies, assist with recordkeeping, manage cash handling, and communicate regularly with the Store Manager and ARC Department Heads. Flexibility in schedule is required to cover shifts and provide training. The associate also works to enhance the store's image and protect resources, supporting The Salvation Army's mission.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
