Job summary

Shoe Carnival in Indiana seeks an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations, lead by example, and maintain a customer-first environment.

As a full-time key holder, you’ll open/close, support the General Manager, coach associates, manage cash, and contribute to merchandising and loss prevention. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in retail, supervisory experience is a plus, and certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• 18+ years of age for keyholder responsibilities.

We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Great customer service and a positive attitude
• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Due to keyholder responsibilities, including store opening/closing and equipment use, applicants must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and working on your feet
