Shoe Carnival, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, lead by example, and support a customer-first shopping environment.

This full-time role includes opening/closing the store as a key holder, supervising associates, training on processes, and assisting with visual merchandising while ensuring loss prevention and cash controls. This position offers hands-on leadership development and exposure to store-level operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail or customer service environments.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must obtain Key Carrier Certification within 60 days of start.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Great customer service and a positive attitude
• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Due to keyholder responsibilities, including store opening/closing and equipment use, applicants must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and working on your feet
