General Summary

As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, store appearance, completing daily paperwork, and supporting loss prevention efforts.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers, resolve inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.
  • Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
  • Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise.
  • Support in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
