Spring Footwear Corp. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team at Jackson Premium Outlets in New Jersey.

You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer experiences, coach associates, and manage daily store operations with a focus on service and engagement. The role emphasizes leading by example in a fast-paced retail setting, with opportunities for growth and advancement within a growing footwear brand.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to oversee daily store operations.

• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store reflects our brand.
• Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and loss prevention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and operational policies.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused work environment.
• Serve as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence.

Position Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team at Jackson Premium Outlets.

In this leadership role, you'll partner closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer experiences, coach and develop associates, and ensure smooth daily store operations. You'll play an important role in creating an engaging shopping environment while helping your team achieve success.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of retail leadership or supervisory experience
• Proven ability to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
• Experience using POS systems and basic computer applications
• Footwear, fashion, or specialty retail experience is preferred
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to bend, reach, climb ladders, and move merchandise as needed
