Spring Footwear Corp. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager at Jersey Shore Premium Outlets in Tinton Falls, NJ.

The role supports the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, drives sales, delivers exceptional customer service, and develops the team to represent the Spring Step Shoes brand at its highest level. You will lead by example, recruit and onboard talent, coach associates, ensure merchandising standards, and maintain store safety and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience; footwear or fashion industry experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic software applications.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Partner with store leadership to foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on sales and service excellence.
• Support a team-selling environment that promotes collaboration, growth, and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention of top talent.
• Coach, train, and develop store associates to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Handle performance management and employee relations in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, loss prevention, and risk management procedures.
• Lead and champion company initiatives, programs, and change management.
• Maintain proper merchandising standards and a visually appealing store environment.
• Ensure the safety and security of associates, customers, and store assets.
