Job summary

Shoe Station is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations and support the team in a fast-paced retail environment. In this full-time role, you will serve as a key holder, model excellent service, and help drive a customer-first atmosphere.

What you do: oversee staffing, train associates, support sales goals, and ensure effective cash handling and loss prevention. This role builds hands-on leadership experience for future store managers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail or customer service is required.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days.

Step into leadership at Shoe Station! We’re looking for a dependable and energetic Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations and support the team. In this full-time role, you’ll act as a key holder, lead by example, and help drive a fun, customer-first store environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Great customer service and a positive attitude
• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Due to keyholder responsibilities, including store opening/closing and equipment use, applicants must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and working on your feet
