Job summary

Shoe Station in Foley, Alabama is seeking a dependable and energetic Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations and support the team in a full-time role.

You’ll act as a key holder, open and close the store, assist the General Manager in reaching sales goals, lead customer service efforts, train associates, delegate daily tasks, support visual merchandising, and ensure accuracy of register and cash procedures while maintaining a positive, customer-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Must obtain Key Carrier Certification within 60 days.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Great customer service and a positive attitude
• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus
• Must be able to complete Key Carrier Certification within 60 days
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Due to keyholder responsibilities, including store opening/closing and equipment use, applicants must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable bending, reaching, and working on your feet
