Position Overview: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, maintain inventories, ensure store appearance, and complete daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers positively. Address inquiries and resolve concerns.
• Maintain a clean, stocked store and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating practices.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items from stockroom to store.
• Support ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Contribute to loss prevention efforts.
• Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 55 lbs, and perform physical activities like walking, standing, stooping, and climbing.
• Flexibility to work full-time including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
