Responsibilities

  • Create a superior customer service experience to maximize market penetration, store growth, sales, and profitability
  • Provide daily leadership and foster a culture of employee engagement

  • A typical day involves:
  • Leading a successful team, supporting the store manager, and managing in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Maximizing sales, profits, and customer service through effective store operations
  • Building, coaching, training, and engaging the crew to deliver excellent customer care and business results
  • Managing inventory, assets, safety, and operational issues
  • Ensuring cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, stockroom, and outside areas
  • Driving operational and marketing programs while continuously improving processes
  • Growing customer relationships, assisting with sales and service questions, and ensuring positive experiences in-store and on the phone

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses preferred
  • Experience or willingness to learn about the automotive aftermarket, hobby/DIY, or related fields
  • Passion for customer care and building long-term relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Knowledge of cataloging and inventory management systems
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Additional preferred qualifications include:
  • Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries
  • Experience in parts stores, auctions, retail, auto body/collision, or management roles in related fields
  • Customer-centric mindset
  • ASE Certifications, NAPA Know How
