Position Overview:
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. Key duties include maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers positively, answering questions, and resolving inquiries.
• Maintaining a clean, well-stocked store and providing excellent customer service.
• Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates under the Store Manager's guidance.
• Assisting with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring items to the sales floor.
• Supporting in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Participating in loss prevention efforts.
• Taking on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs, and perform other physical activities.
• Flexible, full-time availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
