The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role manages the store during the Store Manager’s absence and leads the team in servicing customers.

Essential Job Functions

1. Lead the team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
2. Supervise customer service levels, ensuring team members execute customer service programs effectively.
3. Assist in staffing, goal setting, coaching, and training of team members.
4. Participate in hiring processes, including interviews and candidate evaluation.
5. Ensure timely processing of online orders, transfers, and customer returns/exchanges.
6. Maintain communication through Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, including work schedules and timekeeping.
8. Perform store opening and closing duties, including security and deposit procedures.
9. Assist in maintaining store facilities and equipment.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, and Experience

Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, RSS Certification.

Desired: Certified Parts Professional, ASE Certification, multilingual fluency (Spanish preferred).
