General Summary:

As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, well-stocked store.
• Supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Assisting in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Supporting Store Manager in ordering merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Assuming management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Following all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, with occasional lifts up to 55 lbs.
• Flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills include customer focus, organizational skills, communication, problem solving, and relationship management.
