General Summary:

As a Family Dollar Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations. This includes maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Greet and assist customers in a positive manner, resolving inquiries and concerns.
2. Maintain a presence in the store by providing excellent customer service.
3. Ensure the store is clean and well-stocked.
4. Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on Family Dollar practices.
5. Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing, and transferring stock.
6. Help with ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
7. Support loss prevention efforts.
8. Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
9. Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, and up to 55 lbs occasionally.
• Availability to work flexible full-time hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills in customer service, organization, communication, and problem-solving.
