As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting the Store Manager in daily store operations, maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers positively, answering questions and resolving concerns.
• Maintain a presence in the store by providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, and organized.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating practices and procedures.
• Assist in unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring merchandise from stockroom to store.
• Support in ordering merchandise, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention efforts.
• Assume management responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, and up to 55 lbs occasionally, with physical activity including walking, standing, stooping, etc.
• Flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
