General Function / Summary:

They embody the company's values and ethics in support of our mission. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service and regulatory compliance.

Job Description

Essential Duties:

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio, presenting all options to meet their needs.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations (DDO), or corporate office.
• Respond to inquiries via telephone regarding questions, applications, or requests.
• Make outbound calls for sales, courtesy, and collections, adhering to regulations and store expectations.
• Provide professional and accurate responses to customers, explaining solutions and making them feel valued.
• Handle cash, manage cash drawer, and perform bank deposits or pickups as needed.
• Balance receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify customer information during transactions.
• Process transactions accurately, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Follow federal and state regulations, company policies, and complete required trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in sales, customer service, or cash handling preferred.
• Strong communication and active listening skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.

Physical Demands:

• Work in call center/retail/office environment.
• Extensive cash handling and long periods of standing.
• Extended computer use and typing.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs with accommodations.

Travel / Attendance:

• Travel to stores within the district using personal vehicle.
• Potential overnight travel and travel to neighboring districts.
• Work scheduled shifts as assigned.
