Staples in Camp Hill, PA is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive sales, service and customer engagement in the store and ensure the store is ready for business. You and your team will establish customer relationships that build loyalty, provide total solutions to meet customer’s needs and grow the business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing a sales team in retail or services.
• Experience coaching a customer-centric, solutions-based team.
• Able to engage with customers to identify needs and opportunities.
• Strong communication, organization and planning, adaptable to priorities.
• Disputes managed in a calm, cooperative manner; high integrity.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced environment; lift/move 10–50 lbs.

Essential Skills And Experience

• 2+ years managing a sales team in a retail or services industry
• Experience managing and coaching a team in a customer-centric, solutions-based environment
• Must be able to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs
• Strong communication, organization, planning and adaptive to changing business prioritiesReview results against business goals and strategies and deliver plans for growth and improvement
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously
