Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience each visit. Some managers also lead departments. These managers’ responsibilities may include managing assigned systems—such as training, food safety, and inventory management—setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results to their teams and other managers.
Guest Service Department Managers ensure that crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed well, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the front counter, McCafé, and drive‑thru areas are organized for optimal service.
Kitchen Department Managers ensure that the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, that food safety standards are maintained, that food costs are controlled, and that kitchen staff are trained in all production procedures, including new menu items.
People Department Managers ensure the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them, and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals. They also help crew get off to a good start and keep them motivated and recognized throughout their employment.

Qualifications

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We seek positive team players with flexible schedules, a sense of fun, and a passion for working in the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. Must be 18 years or older to manage a corporate‑owned McDonald’s restaurant.
