YOUR ROLE

As the Assistant Store Manager, you play an integral role in creating the Vera Bradley experience, striving to exceed sales goals and assisting the General Store Manager in managing overall store operations. You support team development, training, and visual merchandising. You are a brand ambassador, consistently modeling and upholding Vera Bradley’s core values. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. You have a passion for driving sales: You work with your team to exceed sales goals, drive store traffic, convert customers, and promote campaigns to build brand awareness and foster lasting customer relationships.
2. You're a merchandising and operational innovator: You coach your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience by ensuring your store reflects Vera Bradley’s brand standards. You execute and innovate daily operational procedures.
3. You're a people leader: You motivate and inspire your team by embodying Vera Bradley's core values. You hold your team accountable to excellent customer service standards.
4. You have an eye for talent: You assist in recruiting and hiring strong talent, and you focus on training and developing your team to become exemplary Vera Bradley brand ambassadors.
5. You’ve got integrity! You are reliable, uphold Vera Bradley’s values, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
6. You have 1+ years of retail management experience or proven Vera Bradley management ability.
7. You’re available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support store operations.
8. You are at least 18 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent.
