Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in maintaining a customer-centric environment, prioritizing customer satisfaction while driving sales. In the Store Manager's absence, the assistant will manage daily store operations, staffing, and inventory. The role involves leading a team of associates and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and expenses to optimize results.
• Support staffing needs, including recruiting and training associates.
• Ensure proper scheduling and shift coverage.
• Maintain store standards for cleanliness, organization, and visual presentation.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Align team behaviors with sales goals.
• Supervise and train staff in the absence of the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail sales experience.
• 1-2 years in retail management.
• Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer engagement skills.
• Basic merchandising and visual skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift at least 10 pounds.
• Must be 18 or older and fluent in English.
• Ability to work standalone shifts occasionally.
