ABOUT THE POSITION

Our store leadership teams are essential to our business, with over 430 retail stores worldwide. They are responsible for ensuring effective store operations, implementing strategies and procedures, and guiding team members. Our Store Leadership Teams help create memorable consumer experiences while supporting the company's mission of "Connecting Active People with Their Passions."

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

1. Provide leadership and direction to a diverse staff of supervisors and associates on day-to-day operations to meet staff performance and operational standards.
2. Create a positive shopping experience by ensuring sales associates have in-depth knowledge of our products and technology to serve consumers and foster brand loyalty.
3. Assist the Store Manager with interviewing, hiring, onboarding new team members, and support ongoing team development.
4. Participate in developing and implementing action plans to improve sales, store operations, safety, and employee productivity and performance.
5. Create weekly store schedules and support the Store Manager in achieving labor and operating expense targets.
6. Maintain appropriate inventory levels and accuracy through effective receiving, salesfloor replenishment, stockroom organization, and shrink controls.

YOU HAVE

1. No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
2. 5+ years of experience in a similar role or specialization.
3. Proficiency in operating Inventory and Point of Sales (POS) systems and other retail software tools.
4. Ability to use judgment to resolve technical and operational issues.
5. Effective communication skills to interact with the store leadership team, associates, and customers.

JOB CONDITIONS

1. Frequent physical activity, including moving items weighing up to 40 lbs., and exposure to dust and noise.
2. Occasional work in specific environments.
3. Ability to communicate clearly with others.
4. Flexible availability to work retail hours, which may vary seasonally and based on business needs.
