Job Description

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will oversee daily operations, lead staff, manage inventory, ensure customer satisfaction, and work strategically with leadership to meet store goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Operational management: supervise daily activities, maintain inventory, enforce policies, oversee hardware, yard, and power equipment departments.
• Customer service: foster a customer-centric environment, address inquiries, build relationships with landscapers and contractors.
• Team leadership: recruit, train, supervise staff, promote a positive work environment.
• Sales and marketing: develop strategies, collaborate on promotions.
• Financial management: monitor budgets, expenses, and KPIs, implement cost-saving measures.
• Safety and compliance: ensure adherence to health, safety, and security standards.
• Inventory management: oversee ordering, audits, minimize stock issues.
• Merchandising: optimize product presentation, collaborate with suppliers.
• Store appearance: maintain cleanliness and visual appeal.
• Strategic planning: work with leadership on store growth and product strategies.
