Job summary

Plum Market Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Team Leader to assist the Store Team Leader with payroll management, budgeting, and staff development. This role emphasizes guest service standards and compliance across departments, ensuring a welcoming, efficient retail environment for Guests and Team Members alike.

You will lead training initiatives, hire and coach Team Members, and balance payroll objectives with store performance while maintaining Plum Market’s values and policies.

Qualifications

• Experience leading store teams and managing payroll/budgeting.
• Strong customer-service orientation and guest experience focus.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods on the shop floor.
• Flexibility to work varying retail shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Team Leader in meeting payroll and margin goals; monitor labor costs.
• Approve Team Member schedules and ensure payroll budget adherence.
• Oversee payroll processing, invoicing, and expense tracking.
• Communicate financial targets and performance metrics to leadership.
