Job summary

South Moon Under is seeking an Assistant Store Leader in Jacksonville, FL. You will partner with the Store Leader to inspire the team, deliver best-in-class service, and curate personalized customer experiences while upholding brand aesthetics.

You will lead by example, manage daily store operations, support hiring and performance management, and ensure visual standards and KPI achievement in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1+ years in a management-level position in a specialty retail environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, and POS systems.
• Excellent leadership, time management, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Leader in managing all aspects of the retail business.
• Build positive relationships and maintain team morale.
• Train and hold the team accountable for retail standards and store cleanliness.
• Support hiring strategy, recruitment, interviewing, and turnover analysis.
• Lead performance management and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with team to ensure superior customer service and smooth store operations.
• Maintain visual and operational standards and monitor KPI goals.
• Plan schedules considering qualifications and availability.
• Oversee daily shipment and omni-channel fulfillment processes.
• Respond to disruptions to maintain operational continuity.
