Range USA in Knoxville, TN seeks an Assistant Store Leader to drive store sales and lead daily operations while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will partner with the Store Leader to deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail and range setting.

The role requires leadership of teams, scheduling, cash handling, merchandising, and staff development, with a focus on safety and regulatory adherence. Flexible scheduling is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail sales or leadership experience.
• Led teams of 10+ associates.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and inventory management tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in coaching, performance management, and team development.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Experience: Support achievement of store sales goals through exceptional customer service and team execution.
• Operations & Store Management: Responsible for scheduling to align staffing with customer traffic and business needs; opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and receipts and dispositions.
• People Leadership & Development: Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring top talent; onboarding and training; ongoing coaching and performance management.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to ATF regulations and internal firearm handling policies; maintain OSHA/EPA and state/local regulations.
