This hourly, non-exempt position emphasizes customer service, merchandising, and daily tasks to meet store goals. You will help manage staff, train teammates, handle inventory, scheduling, and promotional activities, and act as Store Manager in their absence, ensuring policy compliance and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume responsibility of the entire store in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating store personnel.
• Provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments as needed.
• Monitor inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability in all departments.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities and standards are met.
• Keep Store Manager informed about inventory movement and customer trends.
• Ensure quality customer service in line with company manuals and policies.
• Promote and sell services and merchandise provided by Hibbett I City Gear.
