Range USA, the nation’s largest operator of indoor shooting ranges, is seeking an Assistant Store Leader in Lenexa, KS. This salaried role reports to the Store Leader and drives sales, daily operations, and a safe, customer-focused environment.

You will lead a team, manage scheduling, oversee cash handling and inventory tools, ensure ATF and safety compliance, and coach colleagues to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail sales or leadership experience
• Led teams of 10 or more associates
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and inventory management tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to build relationships and deliver customer-focused solutions
• Experience in coaching, performance management, and team development

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Experience: Support achievement of store sales goals through exceptional customer service and team execution
• Sales & Customer Experience: Ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience in both retail and range environments
• Sales & Customer Experience: Maintain merchandising, pricing, promotional, and visual presentation standards
• Operations & Store Management: Scheduling to align staffing with customer traffic and business needs
• Operations & Store Management: Daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and receipts and dispositions
• Operations & Store Management: Oversee store and range facility standards, staffing, cleanliness, and functionality
• Operations & Store Management: Ensure proper use of systems including POS, inventory, and scheduling tools

The Assistant Store Leader supports the overall success of the store by driving sales, leading daily operations, developing team members, and ensuring a safe, compliant, and customer-focused environment. This role partners closely with the Store Leader to drive store sales performance, maintain operational excellence, and uphold all regulatory and safety standards.

Key responsibilities
