Black Rock Coffee Bar in Meridian, Idaho is seeking an Assistant Store Lead to support daily operations, supervise on-bar duties, and model servant leadership. You will train team members, ensure friendly service, and maintain a positive work environment.

This hourly, full-time role requires strong communication, leadership, and adherence to safety standards while helping manage sales, inventory, and scheduling to deliver great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a retail/food service environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with competing priorities.
• Self-motivated and dependable with independent decision-making.
• Must have been employed at Black Rock Coffee Bar for 6+ months unless approved.

Responsibilities

• Lead on shift, maintain coverage, and ensure compliant operations.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training of team members.
• Manage timecards, cash handling, and daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and product runs.
• Attend leadership meetings and participate in coaching.
